Basecoat the frame with Festive Green. Allow to dry.
About 3-inches from the top, begin to add horizontal stripes for plaid using the green marker. Continue until reaching bottom of frame. Once the green dries, add vertical stripes. Allow to dry. Add blue lines on top of green stripes. Allow to dry and then add red lines in between the green stripes.
Transfer "#1 DAD" to frame. Color with blue marker then outline in black. Highlight with white marker. Outline only the top portion of frame at edges with black marker.
Using pattern provided, cut out the red portion of the blue ribbon from felt. Color the wooden circle blue. Allow to dry. Outline with black marker then recolor within the black outline again with the blue. Allow the blue to dry before adding the red heart in center. Highlight with white marker.
Cut two strips of blue ribbon 3½-inches long. Cut out "v" shapes at the ends. Glue the wooden circle to the red felt and then the blue ribbon the back of red felt. Attach to the frame with glue.
