Step 1 Take the yellow frame and grid paper from the Recollections® Neapolitan Collection and cut a bit of the edges until you get the 11-7/8"x11-7/8" size. Remember to keep the whole frame, so just take a bit of each side.
Step 2 Mat the yellow with 12"x12" black cardstock. The multicolored patterned paper on the center will measure 9-5/8"x9-5/8" and the black cardstock mat will be 9¾"x9¾". Make a Polaroid using a Gypsy™ from Provo Craft®. You can make yours with your paper trimmer or craft knife. They are 3½"x4¼" and the window in the center measures 3"x3-1/8". The window is ¼" away from three sides.
Step 3 Take the fake Polaroid and emboss it with a Cuttlebug® folder (this is optional). Then place the photo behind the Polaroid frame.
Step 4 Mat the Polaroids to make them stand out from the bright background. The mats measure 3-5/8"x4-3/8". Use the blue patterned paper make a 1-3/8" strip of paper and punch one side with an EK Success® border punch, then glue it to black cardstock to mat it and with scissors follow the line of the border punch.
Step 5 Cut three flowers from the patterned paper. Use one of the tags from the punch-outs in the Create Collection and mat it with black cardstock, adding a little flower from the patterned paper. Add a little journaling with Recollections™ Alpha Stickers, an eyelet and a Recollections™ Adhesive Pearl on the flower.
Step 6 Mat one of the frame stickers and use an Alphabet Sticker for the number or whatever you desire. To make the banner you will need ten 1" circles folded in half and 15" of twine.
Step 7 Put the twine inside the folded circles and glue them together with the MONO multi-liquid glue. (Remember that the space between circles #5 and #6 should be a little bigger that the others.)
Step 8 If you would like to faux stitch (make the lines that simulate sewing stitches) then now would be a great time to do it. Now that you have prepped all the parts, start by putting together the multicolored piece in the yellow paper.
Step 9 Put it a little lower to leave some space in the top for the banner. Arrange the blue strip of paper under the fake Polaroids and also arrange the frame sticker, flowers and tag in the vertical center.
Step 10 Glue all the photos with the MONO permanent adhesive except for the one on the top left. Use Tombow® Power Tabs on that one (this is optional).
Step 11 Make a hole on each side of the blue strip of paper. Grab the end of the twine and put it between the Recollections™ brad prongs to hold it there while you put MONO multi-liquid glue on the twine. Mold twine inch by inch while applying extremely small quantities of MONO multi-liquid glue to hold the twine in place. Use the fine tip. Hide the center of the twine behind the flowers that you glued with Tombow® Power Tabs.
Step 12 Then add little Recollections™ rhinestone stars to spice up the twine and give it some magic. Also add three Recollections™ adhesive pearls on the center of the two flowers.
Step 13 Use the Recollections™ heart punch to put a little heart on the corner of three photos. For the banner put two small pieces of Tombow® Power Tabs in each circle. Make three holes to hold the Recollections™ brads that at the same time hold the twine.
Step 14 Once you have played with the placement, remove the paper from the Tombow® Power Tabs and start gluing the banner.
