Project Instructions
Step: 1
Basecoat the album label Wicker White. Allow to dry. Using the pencil and ruler mark off 1/2" squares and then paint every other square Licorice.
Step: 2
Using the patterns provided, cut out the "8" and the "0" from the pink and yellow cardstock using the craft knife. Punch out holes for each number with hole punch. Cut out the background for "hits" from the sea glass cardstock (pattern provided).
Step: 3
Stamp the letters "H," "I," "T," "S" onto the yellow cardstock in Licorice. Cut out each within a 1" square. Highlight the "8," "0" and "HITS" using the liner brush in Wicker White.
Step: 4
Using Mod Podge, decoupage the yellow "0" and then the pink "0" on top moving it slightly to the left so that a little of the yellow "0" is showing. Repeat for the "8." Stamp an "s" directly onto the album label using Hot Pink, then highlight with Wicker White and outline the right of the "s" with Lemon Custard using the liner brush.
Step: 5
Decoupage the sea glass background for "hits" below the "80"s. Allow to dry and then add the letters "HITS” on top as shown in photo. Outline the sea glass background and "80s" with Licorice using the liner brush. Allow to dry and then cover the painted area with the Mod Podge. Allow to dry completely. Add a clear plastic or glass plate on top.
