A Heartfelt "Thank You" Card
Step 1 To create this card, you’ll first cut light blue cardstock to 7"x10". Fold in half and crease the folding, creating a 5"x7" card base. You can get a crisp crease by using a bone folding tool. Place the folded card horizontally on your work surface so the fold is at the top.
Step 2 To build the background of the card, first punch a 1"x7" long strip of light pink paper using the Fiskars® Scalloped Sentiment border punch.
Step 3 Then, cut a section of coordinating patterned paper with thick stripes to 2"x7". Adhere border strip to one edge of your patterned paper and adhere to your card front approximately ¾" from the bottom edge. Adhere 1½"x7" deep plum patterned paper strip directly above. Add a sentiment sticker to the lower edge of the card.
Step 4 Then, using your Fiskars® Fuse Creativity System® and Fuse Medium Design Set tag, create a die-cut and letter-pressed tag embellishment with cream cardstock and raspberry ink. Adhere to card where the two patterned papers meet.
Step 5 Punch three flowers from raspberry colored cardstock using your Fiskars® XL Oopsie Daisy squeeze punch.
Step 6 Use a paper-piercing tool to poke a hole through the center of each flower. Stack the flowers and push a fabric-covered brad through the holes. Adjust the punched pieces to create a fuller looking flower before opening the brad prongs to secure the flowers in place.
Step 7 Adhere to card using Glue Dots® adhesive, then manipulate the petals to create dimension.
