Aleene's® Embroidery Floss Water Bottle Bracelet
Here's a fun recycle project that mom and the kids will love! A plastic water bottle is used for the base of these floss friendship bracelets and Aleene's® Fabric Fusion® Peel & Stick Tape make this a quick and easy gluing project.

Material List
- Aleene's® Fabric Fusion(R) Peel & Stick Tape
- Aleene's® Original Tacky Glue(R)
- Plastic Water Bottle (Smooth-sided)
- Embroidery Floss – Colors of Choice (1 Skein Each)
- Craft Knife
- Scissors
Project Instructions
Step 1 Working approximately 1" up from bottom of bottle, apply Aleene's® Fabric Fusion(R) Peel & Stick Tape around bottle.
Step 2 To make multiple bracelets, space tape strips approximately 1/4" apart on bottle.
Step 3 Using craft knife, carefully punch into side of bottle and cut along tape line approximately 3".
Step 4 Use scissors to cut out bracelets.
Step 5 To apply floss, peel back liner paper approximately 1" at a time and wrap floss around and around. To keep floss from knotting, leave wrappers on skein and pull out only a small length at a time. Wrap entire bracelet. Use Aleene's® Original Tacky Glue(R) to glue ends of floss to inside of bracelet.
