Project Instructions

Cut one doily in half. One half will be used for the angel's skirt, and one half will be used for the angel's sleeves.

Apply Aleene's® Original Tacky Glue™ along one-half of cut edge.

Fold doily to create cone shape (angel's skirt) pressing along glued edge to hold. Set aside to dry.

Cut plain center from second half of doily. Cut in half to create two sleeves. Fold and glue.

Cut another doily in half. Cut two wings from half doily.

Paint plain wooden bead with acrylic paint to create head.

Thread yarn onto needle. Insert needle through hole in wooden bead leaving approximately 5" tail of yarn. Bring needle and thread around and through hole again. Repeat until approximately ½ of bead is covered with yarn. Cut excess yarn (leaving 5" tail that you started with).

To create the hair bun on the top of angel's head, apply glue to top of bead and around tail of yarn.

Twist yarn around to create a hair bun. Tuck end of yarn under bun, adding dab of glue to secure end if necessary.

Add dab of glue to end of toothpick and insert into neck side of bead. Cut toothpick to approximately 1¼". Insert toothpick into top of doily skirt and glue to inside to secure head to skirt.

Loop ring through one strand of yarn on top of angel's head. Adjust ring so that opened portion of ring slips under yarn. Apply dab of glue to hold ring in place on top of head.

Draw eyes, nose and mouth on face with pen.
