Project Instructions

Step: 1

Basecoat pumpkin with Pistachio Mint; let dry.


Step: 2

Use Kelly Green to paint candlesticks, spools, and mouth and eyebrows on pumpkin; let dry. Refer to photo for placement and glue small end of candlesticks to pumpkin for “ears” and end of one spool between ears and one at each side.


Step: 3

Use Ebony Black to paint banner; let dry.


Step: 4

Use liner brush and Snow White to paint words on banner; let dry.


Step: 5

Apply a coat of sealer to pumpkin and banner; let dry.


Step: 6

Glue wiggle eyes and pompom nose to pumpkin face; glue banner to pumpkin.


Step: 7

Glue ends of three chenille stems into hole of center spool; glue ends of two chenille stems into each spool at side. Place glue around end of each chenille stem and press center of pompom into it to secure well. Bend chenille stem “feelers” into coil shapes.


Tips

A hair dryer on low heat setting may be used to speed drying process.
