Project Instructions

Step 1: Turn to the “All about Me” 2 page spread in the book. Take out both pages and lay them in front of your work area.

Step 2: Prepare the elements for the left-hand side of the spread. To do this, cut a 4”x7 ½” rectangle of the cobalt-colored cardstock. Select a medium and a large tag from the journaling tag pad. Also, adhere a photo behind the Polaroid frame. Have 1 other smaller-sized photo ready to use as well.

Step 3: Put the page that is on the left directly in front of you. Adhere the cobalt rectangle vertically to the center of the page. Adhere the medium tag just above the bottom of the page, centering it between the sides of the cobalt cardstock.

Step 4: Adhere the wallet-sized photo next to the medium tag with ¼” between the 2.

Step 5: Adhere the large tag above these two, just below the top of the cobalt cardstock, with the right side hanging off the edge.

Step 6: Adhere the photo in the Polaroid frame just below the saying on the large journaling tag.

Step 7: Add any sticker words, shapes, and letters to tell people what you are thinking about in the photo. Move the left-hand page to the side.

Step 8: Prepare the elements for the right-hand side of the spread. To do this, cut a 2 ¼”x6 ½” strip of yellow cardstock. Have your parent help you cut a “v” shape in one end.

Step 9: Cut an 8” strip of the white ribbon. Cut one end of the ribbon in a “v” shape and then adhere this down the center of your yellow cardstock strip, wrapping the extra ribbon around the straight edge and onto the back.

Step 10: Adhere your last photo onto the center of the yellow cardstock and ribbon area. Add a chipboard sticker just above.

Step 11: Adhere the yellow cardstock with ribbon and the photo to the right side of the remaining page. Fill in the blanks on the page next to the strip by writing in the words or spelling them out with your alphabet stickers.

Step 12: Put both pages back in your book. If desired, add additional stickers or leave as is.
