Remove the center of the frame. Apply chalkboard paint following the manufacturer's instructions. Set aside until dry.
Paint the inside and outside edge of the frame with light ivory paint. Set aside until dry.
Cut strips of purple dot and foil flower papers to fit along the front of the frame. Adhere.
Cut strips of coordinating papers 1"x6" long; approximately 40 strips. Tightly roll up strips, wrapping them around the end of a paper piercer and rolling tightly until finished. Secure the end with adhesive tape.
Adhere rolls to left and right sides of the front side of the frame, and over the purple dot paper seams. Replace chalkboard center.
