Material List
- Styrofoam™ Brand Foam:
3 balls of equal size (ant size as desired - Foam Saw or Serrated Knife
- Black Chenille Stems (6)
- Acrylic Paint, Black
- White Tacky Glue
- Wire Cutters (to cut chenille stems)
- Small Craft Eyes
- Wood Picks
- Glue Gun
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Glue and pick the three balls together side by side pushing the balls together to flatten the sides slightly where they meet.
Step: 2
Paint the ant black and let dry.
Step: 3
Cut pieces of chenille stem to create the legs, bend a small loop at one end of the stem for the foot and insert the opposite end into the body, three legs on each side of the body.
Step: 4
Cut two pieces of chenille stem and push into the top of the head for antenna. Glue the eyes in place.
