Project Instructions

Begin this necklace by preparing all the elements first – memory wire, chain lengths, dangles, connectors and charms. Assembling the elements together and thread the beads and chain ends on to the memory wire, beginning with center pendant and thread on one side at a time for a symmetrical piece.

Use memory wire cutters to cut 1¾ coils of necklace memory wire.

Use flush cutter to cut 2 lengths of chain - one 7” inches long and one 13 ¼” inches long.

Connect two jump rings to each end of both chains.

Connect one jump ring to the double jump rings on the ends of the chains.

Use head pins to create bead dangles, close with an eye pin loop as shown or desired.

Use an eye pin to create bead connectors, close with an eye pin loop. Use jump rings to create leaf cluster dangles.

As shown: connect one jump ring on to a leaf charm, close the jump ring, connect another jump ring to another leaf charm and the first leaf charm, close the jump ring, connect a third jump ring to a third leaf charm and the two connected leaf charms and close the jump ring, make 11 leaf clusters.

Use jump rings to attach one leaf charm to the eight of the bead connectors. Use a jump ring to attach one leaf cluster to the last bead connector.

Take the 7” inch chain and plan the layout of the nine bead connector dangles and four leaf clusters, connect them to the chain links.

Take the 13 ¼” inch chain and plan the layout of the nineteen bead dangles and six leaf clusters, connect them to the chain links.

To create a symmetrical design for the necklace begin threading beads on the coil of memory wire from the center, work one side and then repeat for the opposite side.

Place a piece of tape on one end of the memory wire. Thread on the Olivine briolette pendant. Thread on one seed, 4mm Crystal Copper (CC), 6mm Mocca (M), 4mm CC, seed, 4mm CC, seed, 4mm CC, seed, 6mm M, seed, 4mm CC, seed, 6mm Deep Brown Pearl (DBP), seed, 6mm Olivine (O), seed, 6mm DBP and seed beads.

Thread on one end of the 7” chain.

Thread on one seed, 6mm Crystal Copper (CC), seed, 6mm Deep Brown Pearls (DBP), seed, 6mm Mocca, seed, 6mmDBP and seed beads.

Thread on one end of the 13 ¼” chain. Thread on one seed, 6mm Crystal Copper (CC), seed, 6mm Deep Brown Pearl (DBP), seed, 6mm Olivine (O), seed, 6mm DBP, seed, 6mm Mocca (M), seed, 6mm DBP, seed, 6mm CC, seed, 6mm DBP, seed, 6mmO, seed, 6mm DBP, seed, 6mm CC, seed, 6mm DBP and seed beads.

Use chain nose pliers to make a loop on the end of the memory wire to secure. Repeat steps 15 through 20 for the opposite side of the necklace.
