Project Instructions
Step: 1
GAUGE
5 sc = 3-inches; 5 rows = 3-inches in sc. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

ch = chain
sc = single crochet
st(s) = stitch(es)
Step: 3
BLANKET
Step: 4
SQUARE (Make 25)
With B, ch 10.
Step: 5
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 9 sc.
Step: 6
Rows 2-9: Ch 1, turn sc in each sc across.
Step: 7
Fasten off.
Step: 8
Round 10: Join A with sc in any st, sc evenly spaced around, working 3 sc in each corner, slip st to first st to join.
Step: 9
Fasten off.
Step: 10
FINISHING
Arrange Squares into 5 rows with 5 Squares in each row.
Step: 11
With right sides together, A and working through both layers and across rows of Squares, slip st Squares together.

Fasten off.

Edging: Join A with sc in any st, sc evenly spaced around, working 3 sc in each corner, slip st to first st to join.

Tips
When joining squares with slip stitch, be sure to work loosely so the squares lay flat.
