Baby Peeps Cylinder
This glass cylinder features a parade of brightly colored chicks.

- DecoArt® Americana® Gloss Enamels: Baby Pink, True Blue, Bright Orange, Calypso Blue, Citron Green, Tuscan Red, Razzle Berry
- Clear Cylinder Glass: 4½-inches
- Alcohol (to clean glassware)
- Tracing and Transfer Paper
- Craft Knife
- Cosmetic Sponge
- Paintbrush: #0 Liner
- Container of Water
- Palette or Plastic Plate
- Paper Towels
Preparation: Clean glassware with alcohol. Allow to dry completely before painting.
Trace and transfer small and large shapes onto cardstock. Use craft knife to carefully cut out shapes to create stencils.
Position large stencil for chick body on cylinder. While holding down stencil with one hand, use cosmetic sponge to pounce color of your choice inside open area of stencil. Repeat around cylinder alternating position and colors. Repeat for opaque coverage. Let dry.
Position small stencil shape for chick wing. Use cosmetic sponge to pounce contrasting colors on each chick.
Use liner brush to paint legs, feet, and beaks; add stripes as desired.
Use tip of paintbrush handle to add dots and eyes.
Allow painted item to cure for 21 days or bake using following instructions: Allow painted item to dry for 48 hours. Place glass item in cool oven. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and crack open door. Allow to cool completely before removing from oven. Hand washing recommended for best results.

Allow Gloss Enamels to dry between coats to avoid lifting.
