Download the pattern below. Before printing this out, think of the area where you will be hanging the banner. If needed, enlarge the templates before printing. Once you’ve found the right size, cut them out.
Cut your ribbon to fit the area where the banner will be displayed, being sure to include enough length on each end to hang it.
Choose an assortment of prints to use in your banner. Begin tracing the templates (one or both as desired) onto the back of your prints, one for each letter you will need as well as any additional pennants to fill any empty space. Cut these out.
Lay the pennants in front of you in the order you would like to display them. Cut out letters from a coordinating cardstock sheet (we used a solid color) using your personal die cutting machine or favorite fonts from your computer. Adhere these to your pennants using adhesive foam squares.
String your pennants onto your ribbon using your desired means of attachment. Some ideas include: clothes pins, staples, brads, thread, or diaper pins.
Returning to the center of your banner, take out your ribbon spool and cut off two pieces of ribbon, each approximately 16" long. Attach these, one each, to the space between your center letter. Thread on a wooden spool and a binky. Fold up the ends and attach as desired. Embellish your ribbon streamer with the baby feet charm and your wooden spools with ribbon.
Attach as many ribbon streamers as desired to complete the look you are envisioning!
Adjust colors and patterns to match your shower theme.
