Project Instructions

Girl Vase
Lay the vase on its side on top of scrapbook paper. The scrapbook paper should be face down.

Mark the width using bottom of vase and roll the paper around the vase to determine the length needed. Overlap by ½".

Secure paper to the vase with double sided tape. (Hint: Thinner paper works best, but if you use heavier paper, place small pieces of double-sided tape in multiple places around vase to ensure attachment.)

Lightly press floral foam on top of vase to get an impression for the size of vase opening.

Cut foam into square around circle impression.

Push floral foam into vase. It is okay if pieces of foam separate and fall off. Push down into vase until there is 1½" of space between foam and top of vase.

Cut daisy stem to desired height and insert into middle of foam.

Repeat process, positioning the remainder of daisies around the middle flower as shown.

Fill top of vase with Spanish moss to finish off the arrangement.

Use double-sided tape to attach ribbon around the vase in the location of your choice. Tie bow if desired.

Boy Vase
Follow Steps 1-6 of the Girl Vase.

Cut the hydrangea bush apart to have five separate stems.

Pull lower leaves off of stems before placing into foam.

Insert hydrangea stems at varying heights as shown.

Use leaves from hydrangea bush and hot glue to stems if needed to fill in.

Repeat ribbon Step 10 from above.
