- 1 recipe Cake Balls or Oreo Truffles
Use a food processor to grind one package of Oreo cookies. Mix together with 1 package cream cheese, softened. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Roll into 1” balls, insert lollipop stick into the top and refrigerate again to harden.
Melt Wilton Dark Cocoa Candy Melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Fill a piping bag with Wilton No. 4 Round Decorating Tip.Pour about ¼ cup of melted candy melts into the bag.
On a sheet of wax paper, carefully pipe bat wings (half moon shape with zig-zag on one side). Let harden.
Remove truffle pops from refrigerator and hold lollipop stick while dipping in melted chocolate. If chocolate begins to harden, microwave again for 10 seconds and stir.
Once fully coated, set pops on wax paper to dry. Carefully peel bat wings off wax paper and insert into the sides of the pops. Stick on your candy eyes while chocolate is still wet. Let your pop “bat” her eyelashes by using chocolate (or edible markers) to add on eyelashes!
Tie the lollipop stick with Halloween ribbon and enjoy! These make a fabulous Halloween party treat or favor!
