Cut three lengths of hemp 15" for each pair of earrings.
Gather four strands of hemp and bend in half. Insert loop through a jump ring about an inch.
Thread the loose strand through the loop and pull tight.
Attach jump ring to a clip board or tape to your work surface with a piece of duct tape.
Separate the hemp into three sections (three strands on the outsides and two in the center).
Make four half knots and an overhand knot.
Separate strands and string on 2-3 E beads. Tie a knot after each bead to hold them in place. Refer to photo.
Remove from clipboard and attach jump ring to a French wire.
Trim ends to desired length. Repeat steps for the other earring.
