Project Instructions

Thread the stretch cord through three of the clam shell sliders. Do not feed the cord through the last holes in the last clam shell. This will be where the two sets of shells connect.

Tie a secure knot in the cord.

Repeat the above step for the second set of clam shell sliders.

Place a jump ring through one of the holes in the last clam shell. Repeat for the second clam shell set.

Take a 12" piece of Chocolate chain and place it into the jump ring on one of the clam shells. Use all the chain to form loops that hang from the jump rings and connect the two sets of shells together at the jump rings with a ¾" section of the chain.

Cut the Bead Landing™ Starfish chain into a few sections. Connect the sections to the Chocolate chain with jump rings

Cut the Bead Landing™ chain in half with wire cutters.

Cut each section into three equal lengths with wire cutters.

Feed a head pin through one of the top holes in the clam shell.

Place the ends of three of the chain lengths onto the head pin. Fold the head pin over and feed the pin down through the other top hole in the clam shell.

Fold the end of the pin over with the round nose pliers. This will keep it from coming out of the holes. You should now have a loop coming from the top holes in the shell sections with three even lengths of chain attached.

Pinch the wire loop to form a smaller loop, keeping the chain bundled at the center top, and twist it a couple of times.

Repeat these steps for the other side of the necklace.

Connect the top of the three lengths of chain with a jump ring.
