To make one stationary watch component:
Step 1 Select one circle blank and texture, if desired. Locate the centermost point of the circle and punch out one hole on mark with the metal punch tool.
Step 2 Select one watch circle blank with die-cut numbers and place on top of the circle blank from Step 1. Decide where you would like to place the rivets to connect both components and mark with a permanent marker. Punch out holes on marked areas with metal punch tool. *Note: There should be at least two riveted areas, first on the top and second on the bottom edge of circle components. Additional rivet marks may also be added, as desired.
Step 3 Insert rivets through holes created in Step 2 from the “tubed” narrow end. The rivets should pass through the circle blank and the watch circle blank. *To rivet: Turn the piece upside down on a steel block. Using the center punch, flare out the tubed narrow end; flatten the rivet with hammer.
Step 4 Select one short hand and one long hand from the watch hands packet. Insert one rivet through the holes of the short and long hands then through the middle hole of circle blank from Step 1; rivet on mark.
Step 5 One watch component is now complete. Repeat Steps 1-4 until desired number of assembled watch components is constructed.
