Remove four coordinating prints from stack.
Select a print that will be used to create the majority of the project. Turn this sheet over and with a ruler and pencil, measure out and draw the dimensions of the four main walls. Cut out the design including any holes for windows or pegs. Use the spray adhesive to adhere to each side of the birdhouse.
Repeat this process with the second sheet, using this sheet to create the base of the chimney and to cover the base of the house. Use scoring tool to achieve clean-looking edges.
When creating the chimney base, there will be approximately ¼-inch on the inside to use for adhering the chimney to the roof. Set chimney base aside until roof is covered.
Use the remainder of the chimney sheet to cover the entire base of the birdhouse, folding up edges onto the side and top of base. Use hot glue to secure edges.
Use the third sheet to trace the dimensions of the roof and the top of the chimney. The roof will be created using two pattern pieces. Each pattern will have an additional ½-inch on each side that will be folded and serve as an overhang to the front and back of the roof. For a clean finish where the two pieces of the roof meet, cut the corners of one of the pieces at a diagonal.
Score the sections of the roof patterns and fold. Use spray adhesive to adhere the majority of the paper to the roof and hot glue to adhere the overhang. To create a dimensional effect, slightly push in and adhere the point of the roof where the two overhang portions of the roof meet.
Create the top of the chimney by cutting out chimney top pattern and folding the top in like a box. Use a scoring tool to create clean edges. Adhere chimney base to the roof by folding extra edges in and adhering with hot glue. Adhere top of chimney to base using Pop Dots™ for added dimension.
Use the fourth sheet of paper and cut out a circular window design and wreath. The circular window design will accent the birdhouse hole and the wreath will decorate the peg. Adhere brads with Pop Dots™ or spray glue to the circular window design. Embellish bird house with ribbons, tying the longer piece around the chimney and the shorter piece around the peg.
