Project Instructions
Step 1 Cut silver oval rolo chain to one 16", two 8½", one 18" and one 6" section.
Step 2 Separate necklace center link of “Silver Chain” from the rest of the chain strand.
Step 3 Connect the first 8½" chain to left side of the link from Step 2: Necklace Base, then connect the second 8½" chain to the right side of the same link. This will now be called “Link Strand” throughout the instructions.
Step 4 Connect one large jump ring on one lobster claw. Make two sets.
Step 5 Attach right end of 16" chain to the first jump ring of the first lobster claw, then attach the left end to the second lobster claw jump ring. Repeat using the “Link Strand” followed by the 18" chain. You should now have three-layer necklace chains.
Step 6 Cut “Silver Chain Oval Rolo” and “Copper Chain” in the following lengths and quantity:
A. 3½" chain: four silver and six copper
B. 2" (18) silver and (12) copper.
Step 7 Connect the bird cage and log charm(s) to the middle-most chain link of the 18" strand of the necklace using one ½" silver chain. Wrap the ½" chain with 6" chain and secure with jump rings.
Step 8 Connect 3½"chains, two silver and three copper, vertically directly to the left of the bird cage charm connection. Repeat to the right side of the necklace
Step 9 Connect all charms and all 2" chains to the necklace base, interchangeable in your desired order.
