Project Instructions

Slide 22ga wire through the small clear bead. Repeat with large black, and finish with small clear, bead.

Slide the beads to the center of the wire and glue beads in place, being careful to only use small amounts of glue between beads so these do not show.

Once glue has dried, tightly hold ring mandrel and place beads on your ring size.

Wrap the right wire under and around the ring mandrel and stop at the top. Repeat with left wire.

Wrap each side a second time. You must hold the wires tightly in place or the size of the ring will change.

Verify the ring is still on the targeted size and remove from the mandrel.

Twist each wire around the beads to hold in place: one across the top and the opposite across the bottom, forming a circle around the beads.

One side at a time, trim the wire ends to about 1½" in length.

Starting on one side, wrap the wire around the ring shank, staying as close to the setting as possible. You will need to wrap the wire around two or three times. Using chain nose pliers, flatten the wraps. This will securely hold the wraps in place.

Repeat with other side.

Take your 26ga wire and fold in half. Place that fold around the bottom/center of the shank and hold in place with needle nose pliers.

Begin to wrap center to left, then center to right until the entire shank is wrapped. Each wrap should touch the previous wrap and must be taut and neat.

NOTE: Sewing motion is recommended.

Finish off ends by gently wrapping them into any groove toward the top of the ring. Trim excess wire.

Place ring onto ring mandrel and gently hammer into shape and stretch to size.
