Project Instructions

Step 1 Gather the Bead Gallery® metallic swirl beads and the Bead Landing™ silver eye pins. Thread a bead onto an eye pin. Using your chain nose pliers, bend the wire to form a right angle as close to the bead as possible. Using your wire cutters, remove any excess wire, leaving approximately ¼" of wire. Grab the very end of the wire at a point approximately 1/8" down from the tip of your round nose pliers. Roll the wire around the tip of the round nose pliers to form a complete circle centered over the wire stem. Helpful tip: To make the piece look more finished, make your loop so it closes on the same side as your original loop when using eye pins.

Step 2 Repeat Step 2 so that you have a total of 24 metallic swirl beads on eye pins.

Step 3 Now gather the Bead Landing™ rhinestone chain. Measure the length of chain so that you have 24 rhinestones and trim with wire cutters.

Step 4 Repeat Step 3 so that you have a total of four rhinestone strands with 24 rhinestones each.

Step 5 Lay two rhinestone chains parallel to each other and gather 12 metallic swirl beads.

Step 6 After the first rhinestone on the chain, attach one end of eye pin around one side of the rhinestone chain and attach the other end of the eye pin to the second rhinestone chain. The metallic swirl bead and eye pin will now be connecting the two rhinestone chains.

Step 7 Repeat Step 6 eleven more times, attaching eleven more metallic swirl beads, counting two rhinestones between the beads.

Step 8 Repeat Steps 5 and 6 to complete the second strand of the necklace.

Step 9 Now attach rhinestone clamp closure to the end of each rhinestone chain.

Step 10 Attach a Bead Landing™ silver jump ring to the loop in each of the clamp closures from Step 9 (eight total).

Step 11 Now attach the two jump rings from the bottom strands of rhinestones to the loop of each side of the Bead Landing™ bow pendant. Refer to image.

Step 12 Next, add a jump ring to the jump ring on the top rhinestone chain, loop through the pendant, and then through the jump ring on the second, top, rhinestone chain. The pendant is now connecting both sides of the necklace.

Step 13 On the open end of both strands, add a few more jump rings. On one end, add a Bead Landing™ lobster claw clasp closure.
