Project Instructions

Cut off two sections with the word “Love” from the sheer ribbon. Sew these, one on each, to the bottom tails of the sash.

Take out 60 assorted petals from the wedding petals box. Sew all petals together in a straight line, alternating between sheer and solid. Finish off at the end.

Begin sewing your line of petals directly onto the sash in a large circle, as shown, looping the remaining petals back around for a second circle on top of the first.

Print out the DCWV® pattern (download below). Cut out.

Select your desired print for the rose from the Femme Fatale paper pad. Take your template and trace it onto the back of the printed sheet. Cut this out. Use your pencil to roll back the scalloped edges on your flower.

Take out your hot glue gun. When heated, begin forming your flower by rolling the middle section together and securing with glue. Bend the top edges of your flowers out before proceeding. Continue rolling the scalloped flower around the middle section, holding together tightly and securing in place often with glue. Once you are finished, bend the scallops out and then attach to the middle of the sewn petal circle.

Embellish the petals by adding the rhinestone picks with hot glue. Finish by embellishing your sash with rhinestones.

Tips

Modify the color of the paper to match your current color scheme.
