Project Instructions

Holding the egg upright, paint two black stripes 1-5/8" wide and 1-5/8" apart on egg as shown. The edge of the first stripe should be 4" down from the top of the egg. Paint a 3½" black circle on the bottom of the egg. Draw the lines with a pencil first to make it easier. Let dry.

Cut stinger out of black craft foam using pattern provided (download button below).

Cut wings out of white craft foam using pattern provided.

Outline wings with glitter using school glue. Let dry.

Make eyes out of white 1½" and blue ½" pom poms and hot glue in place.

Make a smile out fuchsia pipe cleaner and hot glue in place.

Make a hole in top of head for the antennae using the Creative Versa-Tool™.

Fold blue pipe cleaner in half and hot glue into hole.

Glue pink pom poms to ends of antennae.

Using the Creative Versa-Tool™, make three holes on each side of the body for the legs.

Cut black chenille stems in half and glue one half into each hole. Bend to create a buggy looking leg.

Hot glue wings in place.

Hot glue stinger in place.
