Getting Started: Do not use unbaked clay on unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Knead clay for 2 minutes. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 275 ºF (130 ºC) for 15 minutes per 6mm (¼-inch) of thickness. Do not use in microwave oven. Do not exceed the above temperatures or recommended baking time. Baking should be completed by an adult. Wash hands after use.
Roll one 1¼-inch ball of each of Ballerina and Spring Lilac and form them into egg shapes. Decorate each egg as desired with Pale Pistachio, Ballerina, Spring Lilac and White. Roll logs and flatten to make the striped eggs. Roll tiny balls and flatten to make polka dotted eggs. Set aside.
Roll two 1½-inch balls of Vanilla Crème into pear shapes. Press to the work surface to flatten the bottom. Make chest creases and belly buttons with a toothpick.
Roll four 11/16-inch Vanilla Crème balls into tapered logs. Press the fat end to the work surface to make the bottom of the feet. Roll and flatten four 3/8-inch Ballerina balls and press to the bottom of feet. Add feet to the bodies.
Roll four ¾-inch Vanilla Crème balls into tapered logs. Gently roll each log between two fingers near the fat end to make paw. Make lines with toothpick and attach to body in an arms up’ position.
Roll two 7/8-inch Vanilla Crème balls into egg shapes and press to the body for the head.
Roll four ¾-inch Vanilla Crème balls into tapered logs, flatten and add a 7/16-inch Ballerina tapered log that has been flattened to the inside of each ear. Add ears to the head.
Poke eye holes with toothpick, roll four 1/16-inch Black balls and drop into eye holes. Make the nose/line indentation with the toothpick and add 1/16-inch Ballerina oval for nose.
Set one egg atop of each head and press paws to the eggs.
Cut approximately a 4-inch piece of craft wire and start to twist around a pen or pencil and continue to twist to desired shape. Press through the top of egg and gently down through the bunny body.
Bake according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
Make sure to clean hands and tools before starting your project.
Start with lighter colors and work your way down to darker colors, to avoid discoloring of the clay.
