Project Instructions
Step 1 Cut burlap into 27" length.
Step 2 Starting roughly four inches from the top of your burlap, stencil the word "thanks" using stencil and paint. Let dry.
Step 3 Once dry, fold burlap in half lengthwise so the stencil is facing outward.
Step 4 Cut ribbon in to at least 20" lengths.
Step 5 Secure one end of the ribbon with a small safety pin to string your ribbon through the burlap weave.
Step 6 Starting at the folded edge of the burlap, string your ribbon through the corner of both burlap flaps and secure the end of the ribbon with a knot around the burlap.
Step 7 About every 3-4 strands of burlap, string your safety pin through both pieces of burlap and pull tight. Repeat until one edge is completely sewn. Once you reach the top, tie off and cut excess ribbon. Repeat on second side.
Step 8 Cut a third 20" section of ribbon and pair with 3-4 strands of raffia. Tie a bow around the neck of the bottle and cut the tails of the bow to the desired length.
