Project Instructions

Take out embroidery hoop and sheet of canvas. Put canvas between the two hoops and tighten into place.

Trim all excess fabric and run a thin line of hot glue around the edges. If you plan to display the canvas on the easel, adhere a piece of printed paper to the back of the hoop. Set this aside.

Print out the template below and cut out the shape. Trace this six times onto your chosen prints and cut out.

Stack butterflies directly on top of each other and secure. Beginning 1/8" down from the middle of the butterfly antenna make holes with your paper piercer down the middle of the body, 1/8" apart. Sew a continuous stitch through all the holes with the embroidery floss and tie off at the ends.

Glue butterfly onto frame. Finish off with a small ribbon bow.
