  • Bright Orange
  • Festive Green
  • Calypso Blue
  • Citron Green

  • Large Martini Glass
  • Brushes:
  • 1/2" Flat
  • #4 Round
  • 10/0 Liner
  • Supplies:
  • Water Container
  • Palette or Plastic Plate
  • Paper Towels
  • 1/4" Round Sponge Pouncer
  • Rubbing Alcohol

Project Instructions

Clean glass with alcohol and dry well before painting.

Position butterfly pattern inside glass and secure with tape.

Use ½” flat brush and Calypso Blue to paint first butterfly.

Lift tape and pattern. Re-position next to blue butterfly and secure tape.

Paint second butterfly Bright Orange. Repeat steps to paint third butterfly Citron Green.

Repeat colors for opaque coverage.

Use #4 round brush and contrasting colors to paint butterfly bodies.

Use liner brush and contrasting colors to stripe bodies.

Use liner brush and Black to loosely outline wings with double lines. Outline bodies and paint antennae.

Use brush handle end and Black to dot top wings.

Use ½” flat and Festive Green to paint glass stem.

Use pouncer and Calypso Blue to stamp dots on stem.

Use ½” flat and Bright Orange to paint ring around base.

Use liner brush and Citron Green to stripe ring.

Use brush handle end and Black to dot base.

Let air dry or refer to label for baking instructions.
