Project Instructions

Paint wood pieces as shown in the photo.

Refer to photo for assembly. Glue an XXL circle to the bottom of an XL circle, then glue a large circle at the top front of the XL circle to make the snowman's head. Turn the snowman over, then glue the other large circle over the head, and the second XL over the middle body circle (refer to photo).

Glue the ends of each of the skinny sticks between the two XL circles for arms.

Glue the bottom edge of the square (hat) between the top of the two large circles, then glue a mini craft stick across the top of the circle. Repeat for back side of snowman.

To make the birdhouse, sandwich the rectangle birdhouse between two triangles (roof).

Glue the small teardrop onto the large circle for the nose.

Use the end of a paint brush handle dipped in Ebony Black paint to create the dots for snowman's eyes, mouth, buttons and the hole on the birdhouse.

Wrap the wire around a paint brush handle to form a “spring” and then glue one end between the two roof triangles at the top of the birdhouse. Apply Snow-Tex™ to the edges of the birdhouse “roof” with Snow-Tex™. Wrap the other end of the wire over the snowman's “arm”.

Cut two 4” pieces of felt, about ½” wide, then fringe one end. Push the opposite ends between the two XL circles. Secure with glue.

Tips

Use the emery board to sand the wood pieces. Paint the edges of the wood pieces first then place on wax paper. Paint both sides of each piece before assembling.
