Cabled Classic Throw (Knit)
A simple cable is the essential ingredient in making this classic throw. Even though it will look intricate to non-knitters, it’s really simple to knit. Throw Measures: 46½" X 60". Special Abbreviation C6B (cable) = slip next 3 sts onto cable holder and leave at back of work, K3, K3 from holder.

Project Instructions
Throw
Cast on 230 sts. Work in Seed Stitch as follows:
Row 1: * K1, P1; repeat from * across.
Row 2: * P1, K1; Repeat from * across.
Rows 3 and 5: Repeat Row 1.
Rows 4 and 6: Repeat Row 2.
Begin Cable pattern
Row 7: [K1, P1] twice, K6, * P6, K6; repeat from * to last 4 sts; [K1, P1] twice.
Row 8: [P1, K1] twice, P6, * K6, P6; repeat from * to last 4 sts; [P1, K1] twice.
Row 9: [K1, P1] twice, C6B, * P6, C6B; repeat from * to last 4 sts; [K1, P1] twice.
Rows 10 and 12: Repeat Row 8.
Rows 11 and 13: Repeat Row 7.
Row 14: [P1, K1] twice, P6, * C6B, P6; repeat from * to last 4 sts; [P1, K1] twice.
Row 15: Repeat Row 7.
Row 16: Repeat Row 8.
Repeat Rows 7 – 16 until 59" from beginning, end by working Row 15. Repeat Row 2, then Rows 1 and 2 twice more, then Row 1 again. Bind off in pattern. Weave in ends.
