Project Instructions
Getting Started
Start with clean hands and work surface area. Good work surfaces include wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Knead clay until soft and smooth. For best results, clean your hands in between colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces together firmly. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 275 °F for 15 minutes per 1/4" thickness. For best baking results, use an oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME. Wash hands after use.
Begin by preheating oven to 275 °F. Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay. For best results, condition all clay by running it through the clay dedicated pasta machine several passes on the widest setting. Fold the clay in half after each pass and insert the fold side into the rollers first.
Purple Frame
Condition clay by kneading it in your hands for a couple of minutes until it is soft and workable. Blend the Sculpey® III and the Pluffy™ in a 50/50 mix.
Using the Acrylic Roller or clay dedicated pasta machine create a sheet of clay about 1/8" thick; or use the thickest setting of the pasta machine.

Stamp your design on the sheet of clay trying to fill large open areas. Allow the ink to dry.

Cut the pattern out from cardstock. You’ll be able to reuse it.

Bake according to manufacturer's directions.
Remove the frame from the oven and cool on a flat surface.

Using the white opaque marker, outline each line with white dots.

Once again place the frame back in the oven – this time for five minutes. This baking thoroughly dries the dots.
Tape your favorite photo on the back and enjoy!
