Press fabric into glue gathering, stretching and adjusting fabric as you proceed around the opening of pumpkin adding clothespins every inch or so to hold in place. Let dry and remove clothespins. Cut excess fabric away from inside.
Measure and cut black ribbon to fit around lower edge of helmet with about an inch over lap. Apply a thin bead of Fabric Fusion along ribbon then press in place. Let dry.
Stretch out net. Lay over helmet. Use wire cutters to cut a few sections from greenery. Wrap wire ends around netting at side of helmet to hold in place. Add Fabric Fusion to back of leaves where it touches helmet then press to helmet. Hold in place with straight pins while drying.
Use scissors to cut two 2” strips lengthwise from felt.
Apply Fabric Fusion along bottom edge of strip and press onto one corner of another sheet for felt. Glue other strip in place at opposite corner. Glue other ends to other piece of felt to create shoulder pieces on vest.
Cut desired letters from stencil strip leaving a narrow border around each. Position first letter in place on felt then press next letter in place spelling out entire word. Add low tack masking tape around stencils creating a wider border, and to any sections of fabric that may show between letters.
