Paint plywood Chocolate Brown. Let dry.

Paint craft sticks Ocean Breeze over palette paper and let dry.

Add double-stick tape to back of sticks and add to plywood. Spell out name or phrase of choice.

Glue twine around the craft sticks, as shown.

Punch 2 holes on top of the sign with a Crop-a-dile™. String twine through and tie knots to make a hanger.

Cook Children’s Expert:

This craft develops cognitive skills like attention span and sequencing as well as language art skills. It also uses the fine motor skills of creating lines and shapes and hand-eye coordination. Visual spatial skills are also used to plan the use of space and to build objects. Personal identity and autonomy are social/emotional skills that are also developed in this craft.
