Project Instructions

Wipe the glass with glass cleaner to remove any dirt and oil.

Painting Instructions:

Please use the patterns following for practicing the strokes. These will make painting the roses and leaves very easy!

Double load the ¾” Flat brush with as shown. Start at the left bottom corner, pull and wiggle’ the brush up and down to the bottom right corner (as shown on the pattern).

While paint is still wet, start the second petal, overlapping the first. Then, add the third petal.

Add the rose bud to the center of the rose.

Add the filler petals.

The steps for painting the leaves are very similar for painting the rose petals.

Double load the #12 Flat brush with Thicket and Grass Green. Start at the top and pull down to the bottom, using the wiggle’ stroke.

Add stems and small leaves as desired.
