Candy Apple Cake Pops
Take the flavor of fall and easily transform it into a convenient treat pop that will be a hit at Halloween parties, fall festivals and Thanksgiving celebrations.

- Duff Cake Mix (your favorite flavor)
- Duff White Buttercream Icing
- Melting Chocolates
- Lollipop Sticks
- Chopped Nuts (optional)
Choose your favorite Duff Cake Mix. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour baking pan. Mix ingredients together for 1 minute or until well blended. Bake for 25-30 minutes (baking times vary with ovens).
Let the cake cool. Crumble the cooled cake into a large mixing bowl. Add packet of icing and mix into the crumbled cake.
Take spoon-fulls of mixture and roll into ball shapes. Set on cookie sheet. Freeze for 15 minutes.
Melt the melting chocolates in microwave oven for 1 minute 45 seconds (time may vary with microwaves).
Dip one end of the stick into the chocolate and insert that end into the bottom of the cake pop and set cake side down on cookie sheet. Dip the cake pop into the chocolate, fully submersing it to cover the entire cake pop.
You can also use a spoon to scoop the melted chocolate onto the cake pop, rotating the cake pop slightly as you cover the entire surface with chocolate. Remove and tap on side of bowl to remove the excess chocolate from the pop.
Let cool and then dip cake pop into melted caramel. Before caramel completely hardens, add chopped nuts around edge of the cake pop.
