Project Instructions

1. Cut a ½-inch piece from edge of neon green foam for handle. Fold the remaining piece of foam in half and cut at fold.

2. Lay the two pieces of neon green foam on top each other. Punch 3 holes through both pieces, evenly spaced to tie together and one hole at the opposite end, centered.

3. Click the Pattern Link to see a picture of the racetrack inside the tote. Cut the racetrack from a black foam sheet as shown. The track is 3-inches wide.

4. Lay the two neon green foam sheets together, side by side. Lay the track on top and mark where you need to cut the track in half to fit on both sheets of neon green foam.

5. Use the white marker to draw lines down the center of the track. Glue the track in place.

6. Add car stickers as desired.

7. Cut a 6-inch x 6-inch piece of red foam for the front pocket. Glue the pocket to the front center of the tote at sides and bottom leaving the top open. Add stickers to the pocket.

8. Place desired car stickers on foam scraps and cut around. These are your race cars and will fit nicely in the front pocket for safe keeping.

9. Use ribbon to tie together the neon green foam pieces. Glue the handle to one side of the tote as shown.
