Centerpiece Floral Spheres

For a special evening, arrange colorful floral spheres in a single row down the center of the table and mix in a few candle votives. Vary the colors to match your mood and the occasion.

Material List

  • (Note: Materials listed will create three white and two red floral spheres)
  • STYROFOAMâ„¢ Brand Foam: 4-inch Balls (5)
  • Creamy White Daisies or Dahlias (50 large, 18 mini)
  • Red Daisies or Dahlias (36 large, 24 mini)
  • Floral Shears
  • Low Temp Glue Gun and Glue Sticks

Project Instructions

Step: 1

Trim the stems of the daisies or dahlias to approximately 2-inches and insert larger flowers into the balls of STYROFOAM brand foam as shown. Cover three balls with the large creamy white flowers and two balls with the large red flowers.

Step: 2

Insert mini flowers of contrasting color into each sphere, spacing them evenly between the larger flowers.

Step: 3

Remove each flower and use glue gun to secure the stems into the balls.

Floral spheres are a favorite for weddings. Select flowers that are cream, white, or coordinate with the bridesmaid dresses. Add a ribbon and hang them from pews, chairs, and even the ceiling; or, use them as a fresh, updated alternative to traditional floral bouquets.
