- Scrapbook Paper of choice

Project Instructions
Step: 1
Glue finial to top of candlestick. Paint black, let dry and add white dots to finial center as shown.
Step: 2
Paint plaque black, let dry.
Step: 3
Use front center of plaque as pattern and cut out desired scrapbook paper.
Step: 4
Spritz paper with water, wipe off excess. Apply coat of Mod Podge® to paper and place on plaque, let dry and add additional coats as desired. Let dry.
Step: 5
Drill small hole in top center of slate. Paint frame of slate, let dry. Dot with end of paintbrush and white paint.
Step: 6
Pre-drill small hole on center of finial and screw in hook.
Step: 7
Glue candlestick to base for hanging slate.
Step: 8
Add ribbons of choice to finial.
Tips
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
Paint the slate frame to match your kitchen if desired.
