Project Instructions
Step: 1
Basecoat the entire pot with Snow White. Let dry. Add a second coat of Snow White to the pot, then let dry.
Step: 2
With the Chili Pepper Pattern as a guide, use a pair of scissors to cut chili pepper and chili pepper stem shapes from the compressed sponge.
Step: 3
Expand the compressed sponge shapes by dipping them in water.
Step: 4
Squeeze out the excess water, and then dab the sponge shape on a paper towel.
Step: 5
Squeeze small puddles of True Red and Burnt Umber paint onto the paper plate. Dip the chili pepper sponge shape in True Red. Dip one edge of the shape into Burnt Umber. Press the sponge ightly onto a paper plate to blend the colors.
Step: 6
Press the sponge onto the pot, using light pressure. Remove sponge shape, then reload with paint.
Step: 7
Dip the stem shape in Holly Green paint, the sponge the stems on the chili peppers. Let dry.
Step: 8
Float Holly Green on the upper rim and bottom edge of the pot. Let dry.
Step: 9
Seal the pot with DecoArt® Spray Sealer, if desired.
Step: 10
Use pot to hold napkins, silverware, candy or a plant.
