Material List
- DecoArt® Patio Paint: Fiesta Yellow, Wrought Iron Black, Cloud White
- 2½-inch Rose Pot
- 3-inch Clay Saucer
- Foam Sheets: White, Red
- Chenille Stem: Yellow
- 15mm Wiggle Eyes
- Scissors
- #12 Flat Brush
- Stylus or pen
- Tracing and Transfer Paper
- Low Temp Glue Gun & Glue Sticks (ADULT USE ONLY)
- Fine Point Permanent Black Marking Pen
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Note: Let paint dry between steps.
Step: 2
Paint pot and saucer with Fiesta Yellow. ADULT: Position and glue saucer to pot as shown.
Step: 3
Use #12 flat brush and Wrought Iron Black to stripe body. Use marker to paint mouth.
Step: 4
Trace and transfer wing shape onto white foam and heart shape onto red foam. Use scissors to cut out shapes. ADULT: Position and adhere to pot.
Step: 5
ADULT: Glue wiggle eyes and chenille stem in place for antennae.
Step: 6
Use tip of brush handle and Cloud White to add dots to Wrought Iron Black stripes.
