Project Instructions
Step: 1
Condition clay by kneading for 2 minutes until soft, as stated on packaging.
Step: 2
Different shapes of beads can be made using the Clay Extruder Set. After clay has been conditioned to a soft consistency, remove bottom cap, insert desired disc, insert clay into tube and replace bottom cap. Turn handle in a clockwise motion to extrude clay. Cut with craft knife or straight cutting blade. Insert needle through bead. Place beads on tray for baking. Bake in a preheated conventional or toaster oven at 275 degrees for 15 minutes per ¼-inch thickness. When finished, remove from oven and let cool before handling.
Step: 3
Insert pin head through bead hole. Add glass beads if desired. Use needle nose pliers to form loop on open end. Cut excess with pliers or wire cutter.
Step: 4
Use 2 needle nose pliers to twist open jump ring. Attach bead to jump ring and attach to bracelet.
Step: 5
Use pliers to close jump ring. Continue until all beads are attached.
