Project Instructions

Step 1 Cut a 1-inch piece of 20-gauge wire. Using chain nose pliers, make a 90° bend 5/16" from the end of the wire. Switch to round nose pliers, and form a round loop from the 5/16" length of wire. Slide a 3mm faceted blue iris round onto the wire. Use chain nose pliers to make a 90° bend next to the bead. Trim the wire to 5/16". Use round nose pliers to form the 5/16" of wire into a round loop. Repeat to make a second link just like the first. Repeat 3 more times, making a total of four links.

Step 2 Cut a 1-1/2-inch piece of 20-gauge wire. Using chain nose pliers, make a 90° bend 5/16" from the end of the wire. Switch to round nose pliers, and form a round loop from the 5/16" length of wire. Slide an 8mm blue iris round onto the wire. Use chain nose pliers to make a 90° bend next to the bead. Trim the wire to 5/16". Use round nose pliers to form the 5/16" of wire into a round loop. Repeat to make a second link just like the first. Repeat five more times, making a total of six links.

Step 3 Open 12 11mm 16-gauge jump rings. Attach one through each of the two loops on the flower sliders.

Step 4 Open four 6mm 18-gauge jump rings. Slide one ring through a loop on one flower connector and through a large ring attached to a flower slider. Add a second jump ring through the same loop on the flower connector and the other ring attached to the flower slider. Repeat, attaching two rings through the second loop of the flower connector, adding a second flower slider on the opposite side.

Step 5 Open one loop of a link made in step 2. Attach the link to the large jump ring on a flower slider added in step 4. Close the loop. Open the loop on the opposite side and slide one of the large rings on the back of a second flower slider. Close the loop. Repeat, attaching a second link to the other ring on the flower slider. Add one more flower slider in the same manner. Repeat on the opposite side of the flower connector, so there are 6 sliders linked to the center flower connector.

Step 6 Close eight large 11mm 16-gauge jump rings. Open 26 6mm 18-gauge silver jump rings.

Step 7 Attach one 18-gauge 6mm silver jump ring through the pair of 11mm rings on the back of each flower slider.

Step 8 Open a loop on one link made in step 1. Attach the link to the large jump ring on a flower slider and close the loop. Repeat on the other three large jump rings with the remaining links from step 1. Attach the links together, behind the flower connector, using a 6mm silver jump ring.

Step 9 Slide one 8mm silver iris round and one 6mm bumpy spacer onto a headpin. Form a wire loop, but do not wrap. Slide the loop through one of the 6mm silver jump rings behind the flower connector. Complete the wire wrap. Repeat on the opposite side, adding a dangle to the other 6mm jump ring behind the flower connector.

Step 10 Slide one closed 11 large jump ring onto an open 6mm silver ring. Attach the ring to one of the rings attached to the first flower slider on the side opposite the center. Close the jump ring. Slide a second open 6mm silver ring on the opposite side of the large closed ring and slide it through the large ring on the back of the second flower slider. Close the jump ring. Repeat on the opposite side. The large rings will sit behind the 8mm beads, creating a visual frame. Use an open 6mm 18-gauge silver jump ring to attach together the two large jump rings. Repeat on the second and third rings, then on the opposite side of the bracelet.

Step 11 Use one 6mm 18-gauge silver jump ring to attach the clasp to one ring on the third flower slider. Use a second 6mm 18-gauge ring to attach the clasp to the other large ring on the back of the third flower slider. Attach a third open ring diagonally, attaching the center hole of the clasp to the ring on the flower slider. Repeat on the other ring, so two rings are attached to the center hole of the clasp. Repeat on the other side of the bracelet, attaching the other half of the clasp.
