Step: 1

Basecoat the pot with Holly Green. Let dry. Add a second coat of Holly Green to the pot if needed.

Step: 2

Use a pair of scissors to cut the tiny confetti shapes from the compressed sponge. You'll need small triangles,
squares and rectangles.

Step: 3

Expand the compressed sponge shapes by dipping them in water.

Step: 4

Squeeze out the excess water, and then dab the sponge shape on a paper towel.

Step: 5

Dip the sponge shape in the desired color, then lightly sponge the shape onto the pot. Do not press sponge
down, just use light pressure. Remove sponge shape, then reload with paint.

Step: 6

Continue sponging shapes around the bottom area of the pot, using Olive Green, Calypso Blue, True Red,
Snow White, and Bright Yellow for the different shapes. Let dry.

Step: 7

Seal the pot with DecoArt® Spray Sealer.

Step: 8

Use a piece of tissue or colored napkin to line the pot for added flair when serving candy or cookies.

Step: 9

Design Variation: Cut larger shaped sponge pieces to create a faux mosaic design on the pot.
