Project Instructions

Step 1 Cut two 10" pieces of black cord. Taking both pieces of cord, measure 1½" from the end and tie a knot. String on one plastic word bead. Tie a knot on the other end of the word bead to secure. Measure ½" and tie another knot in the cord. String on another plastic word bead. Repeat this process two more times. Cut the end of the cords, leaving a 1½" tail.

Step 2 Cut three 12" pieces of black cord. Tie a knot leaving a 1" tail. Tape the tail to the edge of your work surface. Braid the cord until you have about 3" of braid. Tie a knot. String on one word bead. Tie a knot on the other end of the bead to secure it. Braid another 3" of cord and tie a knot. Cut off excess cord leaving a 1" tail. Snip both ends of cord, leaving ¼" tails.

Step 3 Using the chain nose pliers, attach a crimp bead to one end of your bracelet from Step 1. Attach a jump ring and closure to the crimp bead. Repeat on other end of bracelet. Repeat this process for your other bracelet from Step 2.
