Material List
- Plastic Molded Face Mask
- Creatology Pink Feathers
- Dowel Stick
- Sheer Ribbon: Gold, Purple, Gold Braid
- Lion Brand® Fun Fur Yarn (1 skein)
- Sharpie® Oil Based Markers: Purple Paint, Hot Pink Paint, Gold Paint (medium nib)
- Pink or Purple Glitter Glue
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Draw an organic design on the mask face with the Sharpie® Purple Paint Marker. Fill in the area.
Step: 2
Go over the entire design with circular designs and dots with Pink Sharpie® Paint Marker.
Step: 3
Outline the eyes and entire purple area with Gold Sharpie® Paint Marker.
Step: 4
Paint the lips with the Pink Sharpie® Paint Marker.
Step: 5
Glue feathers in place at the back side of the mask.
Step: 6
Glue the ribbon on the front edge of the mask.
Step: 7
Break or cut dowel to the desired length (approximately 18-inches). Wrap in ribbon and glue end to the mask.
Step: 8
Use the Pink Sharpie® Paint Marker to add dots around the edge of the design.
Step: 9
Wear or use as a decoration for a costume party!
Tips
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturers instructions for all products used.
Prop the mask against something solid, and steady your hand with your little finger as a support.
Let the purple paint marker dry well before adding the top layer of color.
