Use a pencil to trace the circular template onto 11 pieces of assorted colored construction paper and cut out.
Use markers to draw a face on the first circle. Write the numbers 1-10 on the remaining circles, placing one number per circle.
Place stickers on the numbered circles to correspond with the number on each circle.
Use brads to attach the circles together in numerical order, to form a caterpillar. Punch a hole in the top of the caterpillar's face. Insert half of a chenille stem through the hole and shape to look like antennae. Glue on a wiggle eye to make a caterpillers eye.
Adult supervision is required at all times.
Counting is fun! Together, practice counting different objects in the classroom out loud.
