Gauge
11 sts and 16 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stocking st.
Blanket
With A, cast on 118 sts loosely. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
Work 5 rows garter st (knit every row), noting first row is WS.
Proceed in pat as follows:
1st row: (RS). *K1. yo. K4. K2tog. ssk. K4. yo. Rep from * to last st. K1.
2nd row: K1. Purl to last st. K1.
3rd to 6th rows: Rep 1st and 2nd rows twice more.
7th row: With B, as 1st row.
8th row: Knit.
9th and 10th rows: With C, as 1st and 2nd rows.
11th to 14th rows: As 7th to 10th rows.
15th row: With D, as 1st row.
16th row: Knit.
17th to 22nd rows: With B, rep 1st and 2nd rows 3 times.
23rd row: With C, as 1st row.
24th row: Knit.
25th and 26th rows: With A, as 1st and 2nd rows.
27th to 30th rows: As 23rd to 26th rows.
31st row: With B, as 1st row.
