  • Loops & Threads® Country Loom™ (5 oz/140 g; 104 yds/95 m) in 2 balls of #01010 (Shale) as Contrast A, 2 balls of #01533 (Rodeo) as Contrast B, 2 balls of # 01011 (Regal Earth) as Contrast C, 1 ball of #01007 (Warm Cream) as Contrast D
  • Size U.S. 13 (9 mm) circular knitting needle 29” (74 cm) long or size needed to obtain gauge
 

Project Instructions

Gauge
11 sts and 16 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stocking st.  

Blanket
With A, cast on 118 sts loosely. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:

Work 5 rows garter st (knit every row), noting first row is WS.   

Proceed in pat as follows:

1st row: (RS). *K1. yo. K4. K2tog. ssk. K4. yo. Rep from * to last st. K1.

2nd row: K1. Purl to last st. K1.

3rd to 6th rows: Rep 1st and 2nd rows twice more.

7th row: With B, as 1st row.

8th row: Knit.

9th and 10th rows: With C, as 1st and 2nd rows.

11th to 14th rows: As 7th to 10th rows.

15th row: With D, as 1st row.

16th row: Knit.

17th to 22nd rows: With B, rep 1st and 2nd rows 3 times.

23rd row: With C, as 1st row.

24th row: Knit.

25th and 26th rows: With A, as 1st and 2nd rows.

27th to 30th rows: As 23rd to 26th rows.

31st row: With B, as 1st row.

32nd row: Knit.

33rd to 38th rows: With D, rep 1st and 2nd rows 3 times.

39th row: With B, as 1st row.

40th row: Knit.

41st and 42nd rows: With D, as 1st and 2nd rows.

43rd to 46th rows: As 39th to 42nd rows.

47th row: With A, as 1st row.

48th row: Knit.

49th to 54th rows: With C, rep 1st and 2nd rows 3 times.

55th row: With A, as 1st row.

56th row: Knit.

57th and 58th rows: With B, as 1st and 2nd rows.

59th to 62nd rows: As 55th to 58th rows.

63rd row: With C, as 1st row.

64th row: Knit.

Tips

When joining new colors, leave ends approx. 6” (15 cm) long and weave them into matching stripes when blanket is complete, or weave the ends in as you knit.
