Crackle Agate Pendant

Step 1 Cut a 6" pieces of 20 ga. wire.
Step 2 Cut a 14" piece of 22 ga. wire.
Step 3 Cut a 12" piece of 26 ga. wire.
Step 4 Tape three wires together, keeping 20 ga. in center. Keep wires flat (side by side).
Step 5 About ¼" from end, make 90° bend in 26 ga. wire.
Step 6 Find center of the wire packet and place the 26 ga. wire hook at that location.
Step 7 Wrap the 26 ga. wire around the bundle six times. Each wrap should be tight and touching.
Step 8 Approximately 1¼" from the center wrap, repeat previous step. Do this on either side. You should have three wraps.
Step 9 Remove tape from square bundle of wire.
Step 10 Turn Crackle Agate sideways and begin to shape the wire around the stone.
Step 11 Where ends meet at top, bend upward 90°.
Step 12 Make a hook on end of 26 ga. wire.
Step 13 Hold wires together, (where the 90° bends meet), and place the hook around the wire bundle, staying close to the top of the Crackle Agate.
Step 14 Make six tight wraps with the 26 ga. to hold the wires together. DO NOT TRIM EXCESS 26 ga. wire.
Step 15 Split four wires that are bent upward (two to each side), leaving two 20 ga. wires standing straight up in the center.
Step 16 Wrap two center wires around larger side of the Bale Maker. This is the start of your bale.
Step 17 Use chain nose pliers and make slight bend on end of bale wires. Use chain nose pliers and gently pull all four corners to form a cage.
Step 18 Wrap 26 ga. wire around the bale and over the slight bends to secure in place. This is the back of your pendant. Trim excess 26 ga. wire.
Step 19 Turn design over so front is on top.
Step 20 Pop Crackle Agate bead into the design.
Step 21 Use chain nose pliers and repeat Step 19, but only pull two
Step 22 Use fingers to smooth the top two left wires and simultaneously wrap the around the front…and around the back.
Step 23 Brings ends toward the front.
Step 24 Using round nose pliers, loop wire ends around the wraps to secure them into place.
Step 25 Repeat with the two right wires.
